Ft. Bragg Pines Express

This project involved the design of a 13,000 SF convenience store with a QSR, a drive-through, proprietary food service, eight multi-product dispensers, a fuel canopy, 3 vaulted fuel tanks and associated paving, utilities and landscaping on approximately two acres. Morris provided schematic design, design documents and construction administration for the project. Services included concept design, sustainable design, LEED certification, cost estimates, surveying, soil tests, energy computations, life cycle cost analysis, compliance with Department of Defense Anti-Terrorism requirements and coordination with facility planning, environmental and military officials.

The site was awarded LEED Silver certification. The project was also the recipient of the 2011 Convenience Store News Store Design Contest Honorable Mention Award for Best Green Design. According to the USGBC, it is the largest known convenience store in the world to obtain LEED Silver certification.
