Exchange Renovation + Express Addition
The Hanscom Air Force Base remodel project was a major remodel for the government base’s retail building in which our client was the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES). This major remodel started in 2018 and consisted of remodels broken into multiple phases to include a 6,800 square foot interior remodel of the existing food court, a 4,000 square foot interior remodel of the existing mall and tenants, a 46,000 square foot interior remodel of the existing Exchange retail sales store, in addition to a 5,800 square foot expansion of their Express Retail sales center along with a brand new fuel system and canopy.
Scheduled to be completed in December 2021, M+A worked closely with engineers, consultants, and government associates in order to comply with government requirements and standards.
