Lamar Consolidated ISD Fleet Fueling Facility

This project involved the design and engineering of a new fuel system for Lamar Consolidated ISD’s bus fleet, white fleet, and police department vehicles. The facility has (2) 15,000-gallon diesel above ground storage tanks (ASTs) and (1) 10,000 gallon regular unleaded AST. The project involved the demolition of the old fuel dispensers, canopy, and underground storage tanks that were outdated and under-performing. Project planning and phasing were an important part of this new installation. M+A was able to provide a solution that allowed the district to complete the new fuel system while keeping the existing fuel system operational during construction. This allowed for the district to experience minimal downtime of its fueling operations during the construction of this project. Also included in this project was the civil design, structural engineering for the tank foundations, canopy design, and electrical engineering for all new fuel system controls and new canopy. Morris & Associates provided all permit and construction drawings.  In addition, we also provided construction administration services during the construction phase of the project.
